Active Shooter events are on everyone’s mind.  They seem to be happening more often, and people wonder what they should do if it happens in their vicinity. There are proven responses you can take that have saved lives! Knowledge and planning are two of the greatest tools at your disposal to increase your chance of surviving one of these traumatic events. 

Deputy David Morris of the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Unit will be presenting information that will give you concrete ideas on how to survive an active shooter event.  This class is intended for people aged 14 and up.  Juveniles must be accompanied by an adult.  It will be held on Thursday April 25th, 2019 at the theater in Deer Park High School at 800 South Weber, Deer Park Washington, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. There will be time for questions at the conclusion of the presentation.
